Well, yes, there is a topside to California, and it is some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. I have been a landscape photographer for a number of years. I used to shoot color film and slides and then use a scanner. The process was slow, painful, and fraught with inconsistencies because you don't have as much control over the process as you do with digital. A couple of years ago, I switched to a Nikon D100 6.1 MP camera and have been getting results that I am happy with.
